Ruth Richardson, Executive Director of ASRA, is invited by the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine to participate in its Workshop on the Dynamics of Climate and the Macroeconomy and present in the session on Perspectives on Future Directions, followed by a breakout session to identify priorities for a research agenda. The 2-day workshop focuses on engaging the research community to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities related to quantifying systemic cascading physical climate risks and their implications for the macroeconomy.
