ASRA partners with the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre and GoodGames to launch "Under Pressure," featuring award-winning literary performer Regie Gibson. Aired to the attendees of the 12th Global Dialogue Platform on Anticipatory Humanitarian Action, Regie artfully summarises how multiple risks interact and cascade in our interconnected world and the power of collective action.
An annual event, the Global Dialogue Platform is hosted by the Anticipation Hub, a joint initiative of the German Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre. It is organized in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Food Programme (WFP), Start Network, United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and Welthungerhilfe (WHH), with support from the German Federal Foreign Office.
The 12th edition focuses on the theme of mainstreaming anticipatory action: collaboration in complex contexts, connecting closely to ASRA's Principles for Systemic Risk Assessment and Response.
