Kasia Murphy is the Director of Communications at ASRA, keeping her fingers on the pulse with the latest news, trends, issues, and developments affecting our work. Kasia has worked in the communications industry for over a decade, specializing in strategy development, media relations, campaign planning, brand management and international team coordination. Prior to joining ASRA, she led communications for the Global Alliance for the Future of Food, a strategic alliance of philanthropic foundations working together to transform food systems.

She has held senior communications roles in public relations agencies including Ogilvy, Finn Partners and Seven Consultancy and in UK think tanks, including Nesta and The Young Foundation. Kasia holds an M.A. in Art and Politics from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a B.A. in History and Art History from Trinity College Dublin.

She lives in Barcelona with her partner, daughter and very anxious dog.
